Amid the global pandemic, those in the performing arts scene in and out of Korea have actively discussed the online presentation and digitization of performances. How could we come up with new and creative approaches which would not be limited to just moving the live arts into the online space? How could we find new audiences in this era? How could we form interspace for the art world of stage directors, performers and stage designers and the on-screen world of video directors and editors? Regardless of what people may say, the art of digital technology cannot and doesn’t need to replace the live arts. Let us look into the diverse experiments conducted by the artists participating in the PAMS Salon and other international artists.
