Overview	The Vrystaat Arts Festival is an Afrikaans language festival that forges creative connections with English and Sotho cultures. It also contributes to the global exchange of ideas around arts, culture and society through connections with other national and international creative communities. Our vision is centred on the principle of ‘One festival, many stories,’ and our mission is to support the development and presentation of great art in the Free State for all. We do this by bringing people together; supporting great art; developing artists and audiences; driving innovation; and playing on the world stage. The festival’s current strategic plan was developed after international, national, and local consultations on what the festival could achieve not just to support the local Free State economy, but also to have a significant impact on South African, African, and global creative communities. As a consequence the festival now functions as a creative industry generator, instigating partnerships and new initiatives such as a fringe festival (vrynge); a national and international literature festival (Vrystaat Literatuurfees); public art projects (PAP and Vrywees); Arts Learning programs; a Free State Arts and Health program; the Programme for Innovation in Art form Development (PIAD); and a Pan-African Creative Exchange (PACE). The Vrystaat Arts Festival is now one of the key international arts festivals on the African continent. We achieved this not only because of our strong artistic vision, but because Mangaung has some of the best theatre and accommodation infrastructure of any secondary city in Africa. There are more than 15 fully equipped theatres ranging from 150-1000 seaters, over 800 guesthouses, an international airport (Bram Fischer), and easy access from Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth and Durban by road.

Profile	Dr Ricardo Peach is the Director of the Vrystaat Kunstefees/Arts Festival/Tsa-Botjhaba, a multi-artform Afrikaans language festival in Mangaung, South Africa, that forges links with Sesotho and English cultures. The festival is held annually over a six-day period in July in Bloemfontein, Free State. He also developed and is the Co-director of the Programme for Innovation in Artform Development (PIAD) at the University of the Free State, partnering with the Vrystaat Arts Festival, and a Founding Director of the Pan-African Creative Exchange (PACE). In 2017 he was appointed by the Minister of Arts and Culture as a Council member of the William Humphreys Art Gallery in Kimberley, Northern Cape. He is also a board member of ASSITEJ South Africa theatre for young audiences and a founding member of the Sustaining Theatre and Dance Foundation (STAND).

Overview	Launched by Taipei Performing Arts Center (TPAC) in 2017, Asia Discovers Asia Meeting for Contemporary Performance (ADAM) is a network and platform dedicated to fostering cross-cultural and trans-disciplinary exchange, performing knowledge and generating the artistic process, in order to build a creative interface between artists and arts markets in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. Profile	I am the Curator & Coordinator of Sibiu International Theatre Festival - Indoor Events (October 2012-present) and Radu Stanca National Theatre (september 2015 – present). Project manager within Creative Europe project BeSpectActive 2 on behalf of Radu Stanca National Theatre (2014-2022). I have a PHD in Theatre-Cultural Management (2018), Master in Theatre Studies (2011) and License in Philosophy (2015). Profile	Since 2006, Roberto has been responsible for the dance projects and programmes for the Centro per la Scena Contemporanea di Bassano del Grappa (CSC) and Operaestate Festival Veneto. Associate director of Aerowaves, he is a member of the board of EDN European Dancehouse Network. Currently involved in several international projects supported by the EU Creative Europe and Erasmus + Programmes, he develops initiatives aimed at supporting artistic research, mobility and artistic development in the field of dance, the engagement of communities and participation of citizens in cultural activities. Official Name	Festival de Casteliers
Overview	The Festival de Casteliers is an annual international festival held in Montreal (Canada) in March every year. Lasting five days, the festival proposes remarkable puppet performances and new creations for adults or for children. A wide variety of parallel activities are also on the programme : exhibitions, round table, workshops and professional networking. Since 2018, Casteliers is also the owner of the new Maison internationale des arts de la marionnette (MAIM ) in Montreal, devoted to the creation and research in puppetry art. The MIAM offers its well equipped spaces to the artists (workshop, rehearsing space and a laboratory), and also lodges the Quebec Puppeteers Association (Unima-Canada, Quebec section) Founded in 2005, Casteliers is devoted to the dissemination of puppetry arts. Casteliers organizes an annual international festival – Le Festival de Casteliers – and a season of performances for adults and for children. Casteliers also offers residencies for artists and a vast array of cultural education activities for the community. The 2020-2021 season is mostly devoted to artists residencies and a family series at the MIAM. The 16th Festival de Casteliers will take place from March 3 to 7 2021, and will be devoted to small audience performances (because of the covid crisis). Most performances will be from local artists and digital facilities will be offered for professional networking gatherings. The residency program is usually open to international and national artists, but because of the crisis, this year’s residencies will be welcoming artists from Montreal and Quebec, except for one exception for a French artist.

Profile	Louise Lapointe is the founding director of Casteliers, established in Montreal in 2005, and devoted to the dissemination of puppetry arts, for adults or for children. In 2016, Louise was elected member of the UNIMA Executive Committee and appointed President of the International Festivals Commission, of which she has been a member since 2001. Louise Lapointe holds a BFA, a Diploma in Theatre Production and a Certificate in puppetry construction from the École nationale supérieure des arts de la marionnette in Charleville-Mézières. Profile	Yo-ahen KIM is the executive producer of Doosan Art Center(DAC) in Seoul. He is supporting emerging performing artists and on developing and producing new contemporary performances. He majored in political science for B.A. in Korea Univ. and in Arts Management for M.A. in Korea National University of Arts. He had worked for major theater productions AGA Company and Dongsoong Art Center and has been working as the producer at Doosan Art Center from 2007 of DAC's opening year. He has been doing successful global co-productions between his supporting Korean artists and Japanese theater companies like Chelfitsh and Tokyo Deathlock. He has been continuing a long-lasting relationship with Traverse Theatre in Scotland. He is also working with important Korean theater companies and endeavoring to find new contemporary performances.

Overview	(This dating session is Korean/French-based.) A base camp for street art and circus production, practice, training, distribution, and exchange. The Seoul Street Arts Creation Center is the Korea’s first creative base for street art and circuses, created by remodeling a former water supply station in 2015. The Center supports productions in street art and circuses, train professionals in the fields based on domestic and international partnerships, and expands art education. The Center includes the Main Hall converted from the first water supply facility, practice rooms and video production room converted from the second water supply facility for indoor practice and training, an outdoor yard for performance practice, a wood/iron workshop for stage props, and artists’ residences for creative activities and exchanges. Official Name	Seoul International Dance Festival
Overview	Seoul International Dance Festival (SIDance, Artistic Director LEE Jong-Ho) is the largest annual international dance festival in Korea hosted by Seoul Section of the Int’l Dance Council (CID-UNESCO). Ever since it was first held in the year 1998, it has represented Korean dance art scene and organized numerous co-productions and international tours fostering cultural exchanges. Profile	Jong-Ho Lee studied French literature in Seoul National University and began his career in 1977 as a reporter at the ""Courrier de la Corée,"" a French weekly published in Korea. From 1981 to 2009, he worked for Yonhap New Agency where his career in journalism prospered going through many titles, from a reporter on the city desk and a foreign correspondent in Brussels to the chief cultural editor and the vice president. At the same time, he has been active as a dance critic since early 1980s. He established South Korea Chapter of International Dance Council CID-UNESCO in 1996 and led the success of the 13th CID-UNESCO General Assembly held in Seoul in 1998 and started SIDance (Seoul International Dance Festival), which has been held ever since every autumn and grown into the biggest comprehensive annual dance event in South Korea.

Overview	"ASSITEJ Korea hosts annually ASSITEJ Korea International Summer Festival and ASSITEJ Korea Winter Festival, respectively in July and January. The Summer Festival has a “Focused Country” programme, in which several shows from one foreign country or region are presented to the Korean audiences. During the Winter Festival, which is mainly for the domestic productions, ASSITEJ Korea holds a Korean showcase platform called K-PAP. Profile	Seok-hong Kim has been passionate about the performing arts his entire adult life as an arts manager and administrator. During the time the Theatre for Young Audience is also an important part of his career, as he has had a deep relationship with ASSITEJ Korea such as by working as a board member for more than ten years. He is currently working for the Korea Arts Management Service, while still staying active at the ASSITEJ Korea and ASSITEJ International. He is also an Executive Committee member of the ASSITEJ International as one of the Asian TYA representatives.

Official Name	Uijeongbu Music Theatre Festival
Overview	It is Korea’s only music theatre festival which celebrated its 19th anniversary in 2019. The festival is run by Uijeongbu Arts Center and Uijeongbu Cultural Foundation and organized by public theaters, thus forming a firm basis for the event. Collaborations are also developed through the Korean Cultural & Arts Centers Association and a network of public theaters in Gyeonggi Province. In the context of Korea’s performing arts scene focused on musicals, the festival has widened the scope of the country’s music theatre, thus contributing to the creation, development and invigoration of the performing arts and the theatre incorporating music. The Uijeongbu Music Theatre Festival (UMTF) plays a pivotal role in the creation and invigoration of performances as well as in domestic and international co-production and distribution by means of the convergence and exchange of music, technology and the theatre. - Celebrating the 20th anniversary in 2020, the UMTF is willing to explore Korea’s creative music theatre performances, to establish an official network of festivals and local theaters, to diversify ways of engaging in international exchange and to vitalize co-production. - The programming for the 20th festival will be completed soon (late October or early November). - The festival plans to meet with creators, performing arts companies and the network of theaters on a regular basis and to collaborate with them annually.

Overview	"Korean Culture and Arts Centers Association (KoCACA) is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It is established in order to assist and promote local culture and arts centers as the hub for the network. At present, KoCACA has a total of 220 culture and arts centers in Korea as the registered member organizations. Profile	Dae-won Choe is currently working at the Korean Cultural Arts Centers Association(*) as a head of Cultural Arts Promotion Department. He started his work in classical music and Arts at Seoul Arts Management. He worked at Yeon Gang Foundation, Doosan Group as a manager for Performance Programing and Operation from 2000 to 2003. He also worked at Daejeon Cultural Arts Center as a team leader of public performance Programing team for 8years after that. Official Name	OzAsia Festival
Overview	Adelaide Festival Centre’s OzAsia Festival is Australia’s leading contemporary multi-arts festival engaging with Asia. Held annually over three weeks in spring, OzAsia Festival presents a bold and exciting program of contemporary theatre, dance, music, visual arts, film and free community events at the Adelaide Festival Centre and associated venues across Adelaide. Due to COVID-19 the 14th edition of the Festival has been transformed into an online event – OzAsia Talks. The full festival will return in October 2021. Adelaide Festival Centre (AFC) is the home of OzAsia Festival. The Centre houses the Festival Theatre – a large proscenium arch theatre seating approx. 2000; the flexible Dunstan Playhouse which seats approx. 600; and the highly flexible Space Theatre which depending on the configuration can seat 200-350. AFC also manages the newly refurbished Her Majesty’s Theatre a grand proscenium arch theatre seating 1500 over three levels. Other venues around Adelaide are used for OzAsia Festival such as Nexus Galleries, Samstag Gallery, the Art Gallery of South Australia, and some smaller performance venues. In addition to the ticketed program, OzAsia Festival includes three free community events which also provide some opportunities for performance: the Moon Lantern Parade, Lucky Dumpling Market and a literature event produced as a satellite of the Jaipur Literature Festival. Dates for the 2021 OzAsia Festival have not yet been confirmed, but as a guide it will run October 18 – November 7.

Profile	After an extensive career as a presenter and producer on radio and television, Annette took leadership of theatre company Contemporary Asian Australian Performance in 2013. This organization champions Asian Australian stories and artists to take their place on main stages nationally and internationally. As Executive Producer, Annette has produced all it productions and initiated a range of skills and sector development programs to provide career pathways for Asian Australian playwrights, directors and performers. In 2020 she was appointed Artistic Director of OzAsia Festival and will program the 2021-2023 Festivals.
