<Waning Crescent, or the Way You Remember the World> is the story of people who
were victimized by school violence. The story deals with the themes of memory, pain,
and atonement through three characters : a man who committed a murder, a woman
who is in love with him, and the mother of the murdered victim. Though human
beings perceive time progressing in the linear fashion from the past to the present,
allowing them experience everything only once; this play, however, subverts this very
notion of time, and in the backdrop of deconstructed time, the physical movements of
the actors give the audience new and unfamiliar sensations and experiences.
