<Pound it, Macbeth!> is HAEBOMA's representative work, which 'combines traditional Korean culture and classic masterpieces'. Based on the story of Shakespeare's Macbeth, HAEBOMA brings old traditional arts to the stage. Through the sound of traditonal drums expressing characters' moods and plots, the martial arts, and other traditional performances played by soldiers, it shows Korea's old heritage and beauty. Focused on the desire that comes from deep inside of humans, HAEBOMA intends to let audiences know that the desire is Macbeth himself. In this workshop, HAEBOMA will give a lesson on Korean traditional martial arts in order to improve cultural exchanges and build a strong network with the help of give-and-take opinions about the operation system.

After two official invitations from the Youth Theatre in Uzbekistan (2014-2015) and Festival OFF d'Avignon(2016), the theatre company HAEBOMA is looking for productions or people in charge of theatres who want to present our performance of Korean martial arts in their countries. Through this program, the company hopes to deliver cultural skills and enhnace cultural exchanges through holding workshops.
HAEBOMA which means 'a heart seeing the sun' tries to embody artistic radiance and also contains a second meaning of 'let's do it'. Since its foundation in 2011, HAEBOMA continues to explore human nature under the goal of 'Koreanization of Western classics', and 'Globalizing Korean performances' and contribute to humanity with stories that people can relate to. Its representative works include <Pound it, Macbeth!>, and <The Tiger who established a country> made by combining several Korean traditional fables about tigers. It now performs its productions in Korea and abroad.
